Lately I have been on a cardio binge and have a “can't stop, won't stop” mentality when it comes to running. The past couple weeks I have been taking on new routes so I don't get bored with my runs. It makes the runs a lot more enjoyable being able to see new things. Running, although I’ve grown to love it, is still challenging sometimes. When I take on my long routes I do walk some, but always try to improve.

It’s the day after the NYC Marathon (yes I watched it on TV) and I am
completely inspired in training for a marathon. There is no doubt in my mind
that I wouldn’t be able to finish it, but if I’m going to do a marathon I am
going to kick ass when I do. So today I went out and did 9.32 miles around
Columbia. Now, don’t get me wrong, this was not all running and not the easiest
thing to do, but I enjoyed it and I felt super accomplished after doing it. If
you have not been doing any kind of training don’t get up and try this. Take it
easy, and just get moving!
Today’s workouts:
9.32 mile run/jog/walk
1.34 walk to class
1.34 walk home
Today’s meal plan:
Breakfast: Nature Valley Sweet and Salty Bar
Lunch: Homemade guacamole with chips
Snack: Rice Cakes
